CEB FiberNet is featured in the November 8-15th edition of Newsweek in the country report entitled: Mauritius- The perfect gateway to Africa. The report presents the country’s major developments in sectors such as financial services, electric utility, broadband connectivity, air connectivity and manufacturing contributing towards making Mauritius an investment hub for the African continent. The acting General Manager of the Central Electricity Board (CEB), Mr Shamshir Mukoon highlighted how CEB FiberNet unlocked the potential of the CEB’s extensive fiber network as the country’s second fiber backbone provider. The company’s investment in the METISS submarine cable which will improve international connectivity to the island state is also mentioned.
